The challenges and obstacles that learners will encounter in their lives, both individually and collectively, are substantial. The solutions they'll require can't be found in textbooks or copied from a blackboard. These solutions stem from creative problem-solving, the confidence to dissect complex concepts, and the determination and tools to advocate for their ideas and bring them to life. In well-resourced schools, not only in South Africa but worldwide, children begin honing these skills as early as grade 1 and 2 and continue to develop them throughout their academic journey. They engage in hands-on building, experimentation, troubleshooting, and presenting their ideas to receive valuable feedback. This approach is not only enjoyable and motivating but also empowering. They learn through active participation, taking ownership of their education in the process.

Registered as an NPO, AmphiArts BeCreative South Africa is introducing practical learning tools to underserved communities, enabling the teaching of computer coding basics, fostering creative learning, and weaving enjoyable storytelling into the curriculum. This approach aims to demonstrate the real-world applications of classroom knowledge and inspire students to explore careers in high-demand fields.

We've witnessed the constraints of imparting theoretical concepts without practical relevance. When we equip learners in resource-challenged schools with the tools to bring their ideas to life, they produce remarkable creations, craft distinctive narratives, and acquire skills and self-assurance that will empower them to tackle the challenges that lie ahead.
